Total Hours: 100 hours (65 classes, 15 hours practicum session hours, 20 hours reading and assignments)
Certification: Dual certification as a Longevity Personal Chef and Wellness Culinary Practitioner (LCWCP)
Food is medicine for both the body and the soul! Become certified as a Longevity Chef & Culinary Wellness Practitioner (LCWCP). Learn medical & healing approaches to food, somatic nutrition, longevity nutrition, cooking to avoid carcinogens and to retain nutrients, how to design balanced meals that meets client’s needs, medical herbs, healing foods recipes, cooking techniques to reduce carcinogens & maximize nutrient retention and more. Learn how to structure one-on-one sessions, perform nutritional intakes, nutrition planning and meal preparation. This certification enables you to both coach clients, teach classes & workshops, and offer personal chef or meal delivery services.
The training is taught by Dr. Rachel Dew virtually. It is a combination of live virtual sessions, pre-recorded classes, virtual practice sessions and examples as well as mentorship from Dr. Rachel. The course requires completing all classes and online lessons, completion of assignments, required reading (Somatic Nutrition), exam and practicum. The certification course typically takes students 75 hours to complete.
Live classes will be held once per month with additional lessons streaming throughout the month. For those who will be unable to attend the live classes, the replays will be available. Assignments and additional streaming classes will be completed throughout the month between live sessions. This is a 6-month certification course.
